Kimberly Williams-Paisley is an American actress born on September 14, 1971 in Rye, New York. She entered the world of show business at the age of 13 and was the director of the Rye High School Musical Revue. She attended the Northwestern University but left upon entering her sophomore year to focus on her movie, Father of the Bride. She is a member of the Alpha Phi sorority.

Perhaps her biggest break into Hollywood was in the feature film franchise Father of the Bride and its sequel Father of the Bride II. From there Kimberly Williams-Paisley has been a regular face especially on TV movies, with appearances in show such as Follow the Stars Home, The Christmas Shoes, Identity Theft and Relativity. She was also seen in the miniseries The Tenth Kingdom.

Kimberly Williams-Paisley continued her work this time behind the camera by making two short films, Shade, which starred Patrick Dempsey, and Numero Dos.

In 2001, Kimberly Willams-Paisley was cast in the role of Dana Gibson in the sitcom According to Jim. She stayed on the show for seven seasons, and returned to the show’s final episode in its eighth season in 2009. During this time she starred in the movies How to Eat Fried Worms and Eden Court.

Kimberly Williams-Paisley is married to country star Brad Paisley since 2003. Together they have two children, William Huckleberry, and Jasper Warren. She is as well a supporter of the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s research, St. Jude Hospital, and the XP Foundation.
